Biking is serious business Moma....Hmmm there are lots of fancy blogs out there...Ahh we'll stay basic. I know this one makes it all the way to Germany....why mess with it. Haley is not in a good mood. She just woke up....Really I can understand. And when I say she woke up....I really mean...Dada woke her up. Yeah no wonder she is a little sad. Moma should be sad too...I can no longer tell you about the state of my tulips....a deer ate them this morning in our absence.

Friends

Sometimes I get pictures from friends and I simply run out of time to post and then the moment is gone. On the otherhand we painted these Easter eggs about 3 weeks after Easter and so the whole thing is so out of order with life; it seems like I can post them. We are at, our friend, Shannon's house with our friend Kenzie, painting eggs. Haley had three eggs. She did get them painted and then well........She completely squished one egg and then could simply not resist and ended up peeling/squishing/eating/stepping on...etc..the last two eggs. Ahhh life with a two year old. I can usually keep a better handle on things....but sometimes you just run out of energy and then you let them just destroy. While the older two actually painted their eggs and then saved them for later?!?!?!? Yeah we are not like that. We live for the moment even if it only lasts a second! Save it for later? What does that mean....later?!?!?

A mishmash of pictures

Sometimes you just the week at a glance. Hmmm, one picture of Haley modelling her big girl underwear and undershirt from Germany. Thank-you so much Manuela she absolutely loves them. Ohhhh an important note: Haley is potty training herself. If she had a mother the least bit interested in completing the procedure..I am sure we could. I just wasn't and am still not ready. I have not read a thing....I have no idea how to go about this.....Really at this point...I think she will be done before I find a book or really think about it. She is the driving force. She loves to "do it" and I mean all of it...in her potty. She has no problem with telling me when. Mama I peep. Yep I've also turned into Mama? I don't know where she gets these things. So bottom line...Mama and Dada are still trying to figure out what to do...and Haley well...she is done and knows exactly what has to be done. Ahhhh the blessings of a brilliant child.....By the way she knows all the letters of the alphabet...and I mean random letter picking and identifying...Yep...brilliant...I tell ya.

The rest of the pictures...Ahhh her "cheese" smile....Silly hairdos by Mama....Walking in the woods...probably the day she caught her current cold. We had an apple for the horses. And last but not least....her trike and her truck. Loves em both.

In the playground with the Elk

Yep, Elk in the playground, and we are back to cold weather. We kept our distance and admired the elk. I use the word admired loosely because as anyone who lives with wild animals knows....they can also be terribly annoying.

Matching Easter Dresses

They were both thrilled to be wearing the same dress with the same bracelet. It was a gorgeous day of +18. We went to the Easter Egg hunt and Lily had a great time. Haley had a nap. Two girls in the park.

Lily and Oma

Easter with Lily and Oma. We have had a whirlwind trip. Lily and Oma arrived on Thursday. Friday morning Lily proved to us that she was a natural skiier. First time on skiis and by the end of the morning she didn't want Auntie Sue's help any more and was riding the magic carpet and coming down all by herself. Haley also rode the magic carpet like an amusement ride at Canada's wonderland. Up and down and all over again....no skis though. We have walked downtown a number of times, been to the waterslides and visited the Banff Springs Hotel. The Banff Springs Hotel was a highlight because it was just like a castle. But don't think for a moment that these girls have not been working. We have them sweeping the garage on Easter morning in their new matching Easter dresses.

Fun in the Sun

So last week, March 29 and 30th were absolutely gorgeous...sigh....we have snow on the ground again....hopefully it will be gone soon. But last week was gorgeous and we had such fun outside. I really could not snap pictures fast enough. The tulips were out about 1 inch, we were raking up the old grass and dreaming about going to the beach! Thanks to Grandma and Poppa for the wonderful pictures, we love looking at them. She especially wanted to see Ethan and baby Sophie again! It is curious how their little minds work. We have everybody on the fridge. I suspect that the only reason she did not want to see everyone else is because we did not have a great picture of them. If anyone would like to send us new pictures, we love to put them up on the fridge and talk about everybody. Haley loves them.
